This integrated clinical care team incorporated EBV IgM into their emergency panel testing for the Pediatric Emergency Department to enable earlier rule-out of mononucleosis and when appropriate, earlier discharge.
Excellent teamwork at Huashan Hospital Fudan University in China for earning honors of Achievement. Their best practice for early identification of macroprolactinemia has mitigated unnecessary medications and/or imaging, thereby reducing anxiety for patients and families, all while reducing overall healthcare costs.
